Abandoned Pool Transformation
At Gulfstream Poool Care, we love a challenge! This swimming pool was left sitting and abandoned for an extended period of time, which created several issues for the homeowner. There were cracks in the beam behind the tile letting vegetation grow through the pool, the surface was so deteriorated that it had to be stripped down to bare concrete to repair, and the concrete deck required numerous crack repairs and a fresh coat of paint.

Our renovation team began the project by draining the pool and emptying the remaining sludge/ We then stripped the pool’s surface to expose the bare concrete beneath. The bare concrete revealed several repairs, including the crack in the pool beam, that required repair.
Following the installation of the new waterline and cap tile, we layered plaster. Our customer chose a Florida Stucco exposed aggregate surface in the color bone. Once the surface was installed, water was added along with start up chemicals, and a fresh coat of paint was applied to the pool’s deck we marked the project as complete.
