Project Overview
Our team was recently tasked with a comprehensive pool renovation for a homeowner in Cape Coral. Our renovation team delivered a complete transformation, in record time that not only revitalized the pool’s appearance but also improved its functionality and durability.
Challenges
The pool had several structural and aesthetic issues, including surface cracks, outdated glass block spillways, and inefficient lighting. Working with our customer, we set a goal to not only repair these problems, but also enhance the pool’s visual appeal while incorporating modern features and functionality.
Scope of Work Completed
Surface Resurfacing & Crack Repair: The pool’s surface showed significant signs of wear, including visible cracks. We not repaired these cracks to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic properties of the pool. At the projects conclusion, we resurfaced the entire pool with a fresh, durable pebble finish, ensuring a long-lasting surface for years of enjoyment.
New Tile Installation: We installed new decorative tiles along the waterline, enhancing the pool’s aesthetic with a modern, sleek look. These tiles were carefully selected and installed to complement the pool and create a polished, high-end appearance.
Removal and Replacement of Glass Block Spillway: The existing glass block spillway was removed and replaced with a concrete spillway. This new concrete base was then tiled to match the updated design of the pool, resulting in a seamless integration with the surrounding water features.
Deck Jets Installation: We removed the existing glass block feature and installed four deck jets to create a visually appealing water feature. These jets added an element of movement and tranquil sound, contributing to the pool’s tranquil ambiance.
LED Lighting Retrofit: To accent the pool, we retrofitted the old fiberoptic lighting system with energy-efficient LED lighting. These new lights not only improved the pool’s nighttime visibility but also added a vibrant and colorful display, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
Results
This completed renovation provided our customer with a completely updated look, a new pool surface, new tile, and a modernized spillway with water features. Blown away by our reliability, expert craftsmanship, and attention to detail, our customer couldn’t believe their eyes as we completed this project and the pool began to fill with water!
